The planned opening for many retail properties in the area is slated for 2012, and there will be convenient access to the area from the 405 along Avalon Boulevard. The area will be served not only by Interstate 405, but also by three other major intersecting or surrounding freeways (91, 110, and 710).
All told, the retail shops and entertainment complexes in the area will offer over 1.25 million square feet of usage, and there will be a capacity of 70K square footage of restaurants along with a sixteen screen cinema. Three hundred hotel rooms will serve the Boulevards at South Bay.
