📢 Los Angeles Down Payment GRANT

While there are many Los Angeles down-payment assistance loans out there for LA first time home buyers, there are very few grants. However, with the help of Los Angeles County Center for Financial Empowerment, the Greenline Home Program offers a grant up to $35,000.  Amounts and availability is subject to change.

LOS ANGELES DOWN-PAYMENT ASSISTANCE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

WHO can buy using the Greenline Home program? 
First-time Buyers Buyers who have not had home ownership or interest in a property within the past three years.
WHAT is the Greenline Home Program?  It is a GRANT, subject to several conditions.

WHAT BUYERS NEEDS TO KNOW WHEN APPLYING FOR LOS ANGELES COUNTY GREENLINE PROGRAM: 

• $35,000 GRANT can be used towards down-payment and closing costs
• Buyer must not have been on title or owned any property within 3 years of applying
• Buyer must have their own 3% of purchase price coming from their own funds
• Buyer must be owner-occupant and remain in the home for full 3 years after recording date.
• Property must be a single-family residence (SFR), townhouse or condo
• There will be a 3-year lien attached to property in the amount of grant
